Physiotherapy, also known as physical therapy, is a healthcare profession that aims to help individuals recover from injuries, illnesses, and surgeries and improve their overall physical function and well-being. Physiotherapy addresses the problems that limit somebody's movement or functional activities in their daily lives. This could be pain from a recent or old injury or stiffness from a chronic injury. Physiotherapy can be used to treat a wide range of conditions, including musculoskeletal pain, sports injuries, chronic conditions such as arthritis, whiplash injuries, soft tissue injuries such as tendonitis, sprains and strains, joint pain or nerve pain such as a pinched nerve or sciatic pain. We use a variety of techniques to help with your pain such as Shockwave Therapy, hands on therapy where we work on the muscles and joints, acupuncture or IMS, exercise therapy and electrotherapy.

Hi, I am Amit Kumar. I was born and raised in India and completed my Bachelor’s degree of Physiotherapy in 2009. I have over 10 years of clinical experience working as a physiotherapist at variety of clinical settings in Saskatchewan and Alberta. It ranges from private practices to smaller health centres to bigger hospitals and also worked with all age groups. My areas of speciality are musculoskeletal disorders, sports injuries, work related injuries, motor vehicle accidents, vestibular and concussion management. I am trained in variety of physiotherapy treatment techniques like Dry-needling, spinal manipulation and K-taping. I ensure that my treatment plans are very much customized for every client using the suitable physiotherapy techniques. I prefer to empower my clients so that they can actively participate in the goal setting and recovery planning. Hi, I am Sakshi Gupta, born and raised in India and graduated with Bachelors of Physiotherapy Degree in 2010.
